  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When ABO is generating the listing      *
  *                      transform to a dataset with             *
  *                      RECFM=FB, LRECL=133 as recommended      *
  *                      by the User's guide ABO may generate    *
  *                      a long line (over 133 chars) in the     *
  *                      listing transform file that may         *
  *                      cause ABO to abend with the             *
  *                      following message in the OPTLOG         *
  *                      dataset: BOZ1446U: An I/O error         *
  *                      occured while writing the Listing       *
  *                      transform.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply provided service.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  ABO was modified to query the
  listing transform file specified by
  the user. ABO will detect if the
  listing transform file has a maximum
  record length. If it does, ABO will
  now truncate any line of the
  generated listing transform to
  ensure each line will fit in the
  maximum record length of the
  specified listing transform file.
  ABO will now also generate a new
  warning message when the specified
  listing transform file has a LRECL
  below the recommended 133. BOZ1458W:
  Listing file "" has LRECL below
  recommended 133. Truncation may
  occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• ABO was modified to limit the length
  of lines in the generated listing
  transform to avoid I/O errors caused
  by line length.
