Error description

• CICS Configuration Manager ISPF panel CCVPCTXE
  displays the
  following error:
   CCVE089 'RemoteName' may be specified only
  
  when a valid value is also specified
   for
  'RemoteSystem'.
  
  This occurs when a CICS transaction definition
  is
  edited using the CICSCM ISPF online panel CCVPCTXE
  when the
  attribute combination was follows:
   DYNAMIC(YES),
  REMOTESYSTEM(blank), REMOTENAME(NAME)
  
  CICS CM is being
  inconsistent with the CICS TS CEDA
  transaction which allows
  the definition to specify
  the REMOTENAME when DYNAMIC(YES) is
  specified,
  regardless of the REMOTESYSTEM value being blank.

  A CICS transaction definition is edited using the ISPF online
  panel CCVPCTXE.  The attribute combination is set like the
  following:  DYNAMIC(YES), REMOTESYSTEM(blank), REMOTENAME(NAME).
  
  The panel displays the following error:
  
     CCVE089 'RemoteName' may be specified only when a valid value
              is also specified for 'RemoteSystem'.
  
  CICS CM is inconsistent with the CICS TS CEDA transaction which
  allows the definition to specify the REMOTENAME when
  DYNAMIC(YES) is specified, regardless of the REMOTESYSTEM
  value.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Configuration Manager is corrected.  The validation
  checking in the transaction edit panel CCVPCTXE now accepts a
  REMOTENAME value when DYNAMIC(YES) is specified.
