Error description
In MER a FINplus message is created and then routed to MSIF to be sent to SWIFT. This could be, for example, a pacs.009.001.08 message with request sub type swift.cbprplus.cov.02. MSIF receives the FINplus message, creates an InterAct message, and sends it out to SWIFT. In the SendMsg request that MER sends to MSIF no request sub type is specified, so MSIF sends out the InterAct message without request sub type which may result in a message validation error at SWIFT.

Problem summary
In MER a FINplus message is created and then routed to MSIF to be sent to SWIFT. This could be, for example, a pacs.009.001.08 message with request sub type swift.cbprplus.cov.02. MSIF receives the FINplus message, creates an InterAct message, and sends it out to SWIFT. In the SendMsg request that MER sends to MSIF no request sub type is specified, so MSIF sends out the InterAct message without request sub type which may result in a message validation error at SWIFT.
Problem conclusion
MER adds the request sub type information in the SendMsg request that it sends to MSIF, so MSIF can put this information in the InterAct message sent to SWIFT.
