PH47368: IMAGE VPS CREATED ON THE SAME PAGE HAS THE SAME NAME WHICH MAKESDIFFICULT TO FIND ON PLAYBACK FAILURE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Image verification points created on the same page have the same
  display(control) name in a simplified script. After playback
  using Web UI engine, if any image VPs failed, it is difficult to
  find which VP is failed as all are having same display name.
  Earlier in XML reports, we provide additional information of VP
  Type and Property name to differentiate VPs.

Problem conclusion

• Previously, when you ran a functional test by using the
  simplified script, all the image verification points of a window
  were displayed with the same name in the unified report. As a
  result, it was difficult to identify the images of failed
  verification points. This problem is fixed.
  
  Now, Rational Functional Tester displays image verification
  point names in the following format:
  Verify Image <window_name> <verification_point_type>
  <property_name>
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in 10.5.0 release.
