APAR status

Error description

  • After the application of the fix for PH29757, an unload run in
    native mode might enter an infinite loop at the end of a single
    unload.
    This could occur if one of the following condition is fulfilled:
    - condition 1)  an ORDER clause is processed using the index
    scan feature
    - condition 2) XML or LOB data must be unloaded
    

Local fix

  • if condition 1 applies, consider disabling the indexscan feature
    by specifying INDEXSCAN NO.
    if either of condition 1 or 2 applies, consider running the
    unload in SQL mode by specifying the DB2 FORCE option.
