  • Object Compare :  SYSPRINT shows incorrect version
details via DDL to DDL compare

DESCRIPTION:  When performing a DDL to DDL compare, the SYSPRINT
shows incorrect version and function level information

For example, with Db2 z/OS at FL508:

When comparing two DDL files, the SYSPRINT data set for Compare
shows incorrect values for Db2 function levels and APPLCOMPAT.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been resolved. Because a Db2 connection does not
exist for a DDL to DDL comparison, the values for Db2 function
level and APPLCOMPAT are dependent on the DDL and are displayed
as NA.
