Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users with UI79514 applied. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After applying APAR PH40714 * * (PTF UI79514) 0C1 abends occur in * * DFHETC when EXEC CICS EXTRACT TCT or * * EXEC CICS EXTRACT ATTACH requests are * * issued. * **************************************************************** APAR PH40714 included changes to the base registers used within DFHETC. The base register has not been initialised correctly for subroutines processing the EXEC CICS EXTRACT TCT and EXEC CICS EXTRACT ATTACH routines so 0C1 abends are triggered. CICS terminates the transaction after outputting message DFHAP0001: DFHAP0001 applid An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred at offset X'FFFFFFFF' in module DFHETC.
Problem conclusion
UI79514 DFHETC is changed so that its base registers are initialised correctly.
