APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For the column PRODUCT_ID_REMOTE, only blanks or SUMMARY are
showing up as output. Our update definition is set to if
QLACAFLGS = 1 then the output should be SUMMARY even though
there is information in the SMF field.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The PRODUCT_ID_REMOTE field in the      *
*                      DB2_USER_DIST_* tables sometimes        *
*                      contains unprintable characters or      *
*                      the word "*SUMMARY*".                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF(s).                   *
****************************************************************
If the record is a summary rollup record, '*SUMMARY*' is
inserted into the PRODUCE_ID_REMOTE field, even if the
record has a valid product id.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • IBM Z Decision Support and IBM Z Performance and Capacity
Analytics is changed to populate the field PRODUCT_ID_REMOTE
with the field QLACAPRID if it contains a valid product id,
otherwise '*SUMMARY*' will be used.
