Error description

  • SAP JBAPI Adapter Parser error that occurs when using the BAPI
imported type tree that was created using the provided SAP JBAPI
Adapter patch. The SAP JBAPI Adapter patch was provided to
resolve the problem where the UTF-16 Big Endian fields where
defined with the single byte size instead of the double byte
size. The client indicated that a similar problem also occurred
when their SAP system was updated after adding two new fields to
the BAPI.

Problem Description:

SAP JBAPI Adapter Parser error occurs when using the BAPI
imported type tree that was created using the provided SAP JBAPI
 Adapter patch. BAPI Importer did not use -f for Unicode.

Platforms Affected:
Linux 64 bit

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the BAPI importer (in m4r3bapi.jar) to generate a tree
with the "-f" initiator for Unicode types
