Error description

  • Product enhancement to provide a mechanism to include
    additional parameter statements applicable to the DB2 High
    Performance Unload product when used to retrieve DB2 data during
    an Optim Archive, Compare or Extract process.

    *                       use which Optim did not support.       *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the fix provided.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    Optim supported only a base level of parameters
    provided by the DB2 High Performance Unload
    utility.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Optim has been updated to provide support for additional DB2
    High Performance Unload parameters.  Those parameters are:
    DDNAME
    INLINE
    CHECK
    FROM_COPYTOCOPY
    MERGE_IIC
    FLASHCOPY
    SIZE
    DDLDDN and the corresponding DSN
    LAST_IC
    an integer representing a previous image copy value
    GLOBAL
    PARTITIONED
    ANYTYPE
    CONSISTENT
    EXCLUDE_FIC
    an integer representing the maximum partition count to be used
    OBID_REPORT
    IC_MAXPARTITIONS
    
    Please refer to the IBM DB2 High Performance Unload for z/OS
    guide, chapter 5, for an explanation of each of these
    parameters.
