    * will be provided through the RULE resource *
    *                 table.                                       *
    ****************************************************************
    The CICSPlex SM RULE resource table contains two fields which
    are being reset at the CICS statistics interval, but are
    expected to contain values which are not reset.
    The affected fields are :
    COUNT = Action count
    TIME  = Last action time
    This is inconsistent with the function at V5R4M0 and earlier.

Problem conclusion

  • The fields COUNT and TIME on the RULE resource table are
    updated so that they are not reset at the CICS statistics
    interval.
    This provides consistency with CICSPlex SM V5.4 and earlier.

    Two new fields COUNTSTAT and TIMESTAT are added to RULE
    resource table, these two contain values which are reset
    at the CICS statistics interval.
