Error description

• Field WAITING_TIME uses SUM in its calculation instead of MAX,
  resulting in incorrect output.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: For the following fields                *
  *                      PREPARATION_TIME, INELIGIBLE_TIME_1,    *
  *                      INELIGIBLE_TIME_2 and WAITING_TIME in   *
  *                      the MVS Address Space tables and MVSPM  *
  *                      Application Statistics tables the       *
  *                      value is always the same (track events  *
  *                      at start time). These times are being   *
  *                      multiplied which is incorrect.          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF(s).                   *

  If a JOB/task spans multiple SMF intervals, there are multiple
  SMF 30 subtype 2 records. The function SUM is being used to
  populate PREPARATION_TIME, INELIGIBLE_TIME_1, INELIGIBLE_TIME_2
  and WAITING_TIME in the MVS Address Space tables and MVSPM
  Application Statistics tables. This causes the time to be
  multiplied by the number of SMF 30 subtype 2 records written.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fields  PREPARATION_TIME, INELIGIBLE_TIME_1,
  INELIGIBLE_TIME_2 and WAITING_TIME are changed
  to use the function MAX.
