Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All IMS Recovery Solution Pack for z/OS * * Version 2 Release 1 ( FMID=HAHM210 ) * * IMS Database Recovery Facility Extended * * Functions users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABENDS0C4 may occur with Recovery * * Sensor. This is due to inconsistencies * * in the LINKAGE parameter in BPEENTER * * and BPEEXIT. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF * **************************************************************** Because the LINKAGE parameter is specified differently between BPEENTER and BPEEXIT, the address of the SAVE AREA obtained by BPEENTER and the address of the SAVE AREA released by BPEEXIT are different. As a result, the recovery sensor may get ABEND0C4 depending on the storage situation.
Problem conclusion
IROSDBRC and IRODSP00 have been modified as follows. The specification of the LINKAGE parameter of BPEEXIT has been modified to MVS to match that of BPEENTER.
