PH44974: CONSISTENCY CHECKER SHOULD REPORT THE INSTALLED RELEASE 15.2 OF IMS VERSION OF IMS RESLIB INSTEAD OF THE BASE RELEASE 15.1

APAR status

Error description

• Consistency Checker reports the library information and outputs
  IMS as 15.1 for IMS version and release number even when the
  installed release is 15.2. The utility retrieves IMS level from
  DFSVC000 in IMS RESLIB and it includes 15.1 even when the
  installed release is 15.2. The utility will use DFSGVRM API to
  obtain IMS installed level and report it.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  This APAR fixes the Consistency Checker and the Catalog Manager
  to report the IMS installed level of the IMS RESLIB instead of
  the IMS base level when the utilities can retrieve the IMS
  installed level of 15.2 or later.
  Even when the IMS installed level is upgraded to 15.2 and ACBs,
  DBDs and PSBs are generated with the IMS, IMS 15.1 is still used
  for such resources. The user's guide also updated to explain the
  IMS level of IMS RESLIB, ACB, DBD, and PSB.
