PH44926: INCORROUT IN NATIVE MODE BUT NO ERROR REPORTED IF VSAM PHYSICAL ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An unload completes without reporting any error but does not
  unload whole the expected data.
  This occurs when all the following conditions are fulfilled:
  - the unload is run in native mode
  - the data is unloaded from a VSAM dataset (either from the
  tablespace or from a FlashCopy dataset)
  - one of the VSAM datasets involved in the unload is affected
  by a physical I/O error
  - Db2 HPU reads the VSAM datasets without exploiting the zIIP
  processors (i.e. either ZIIP OFF applies or FIX(APAR_PH36904
  [,VERBOSE]) is specified in VUU030/ULOPTNS or if some features
  or conditions, such as the indexscan, object with
  editproc/fieldproc/encryption and some use case involving FORMAT
  INTERNAL prevent the zIIP processors to be exploited)
  

Local fix

• none but, if relevant, consider to enable the zIIP use so that
  any physical I/O error affecting the VSAM datasets is correctly
  reported by Db2 HPU.
