Error description

  • In a GDPS Metro dual-leg (MM3SITE) topology, after a HyperSwap
    from RS1 to RS2 on RL1, errors occur when trying to reset the
    preferred RPFC leg. Messages like the following are observed in
    the SDF trace.
    
    PSETCHAR nnnnn xxyyyy 00zzzzz 01 xxyyyy 00zzzzz 01 RESET
    PSETCHAR nnnnn RC=7944 REAS=00000014
    ANTP0115I NO MATCH IN CU FOR SPECIFIED PRIMARY OR SECONDARY.
    
    The primary and secondary identification in the PSETCHAR command
    incorrectly show identical RS2 values (xxyyyy 00zzzzz)

    GDPS may build a PSETCHAR command with incorrect primary and
    secondary device information for the replication leg to be
    reset. The disk storage system rejects the command with an
    indication that the specified relationship is not recognized.
