Error description
An unload intermittently terminates in error or with an ABEND with unpredictable symptom. The most common observed symptom involves the infotel_realloc function such as in the example below: INZZ114S OUT OF MEMORY with the following traceback : 6 infotel_realloc +00000072 1070 7 ocharAdjustCcsid2 +0000097E 5476 8 ocharAppend +0000005A 3056 9 odb2cmdDisplayDatabase +000004C6 2355 10 oddlcmdUpdateDb2Status +0000070A 814 This issue only occurs when one of the following parallelism mode applies: - parallelism between tablespaces for unloads processed in native mode (message INZU225I is issued) - parallelism between SELECT statements processed in SQL mode (message INZU226I is issued) and more likely occurs when the CHECK_MEMORY feature is requested either through the VUU097/CHKMEM parmlib parameter or the CHECK_MEMORY option by specifying a value different from NO.
Local fix
none but consider disabling the CHECK_MEMORY feature to lower the probability of the occurrence of the issue.
