  OFFSET01BEA with the below dump -

  * may occur when LOAD or REORG utility                         *
  * was run with PH43117/UI79318 applied.                        *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  After PH43117/UI79318 was applied, when LOAD or REORG utility
  was running and Db2 received a record shorter than expected,
  abend 0C4-00000038 at DSNIKESR OFFSET+01BEA might occur.
  This problem occurred because a local pointer was not pointing
  to the correct storage in the fix of PH43117.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 is modified to prevent the abend reported by PH43117.
