APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In the case where $PATH contains a directory that causes a
  different version of sed to be used (other than /bin/sed),
  this
  can cause the install of a Liberty iFix to fail with:
  CRIMA1076E ERROR: Error executing the
  /InstallationManager/IM/b
  in/eclipse/jre_8.0.6025.20210224_1350/jre/bin/javacommand:
  
  status=4.  For more information, see the agent log file:
  /InstallationManager/IM/appdata/logs/native/20211220_0417.lo

  This can also happen when installing a Fix Pack of Liberty
  that pulls in an iFix if using the default of -installFixes
  recommended.  To just install the fix pack, use
  -installFixes
  none
  

Local fix

• ensure /bin/ is in $PATH before other directories that contain
  sed

  This can also happen when installing a Fix Pack of Liberty that
  pulls in an iFix if using the default of -installFixes
  recommended.
  To just install the fix pack, use -installFixes none
  

Problem conclusion

• The solution is to force the install to use the system commands
  in /bin.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 22.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for

Temporary fix

• modify PATH statement to place /bin at start of the PATH list to
  ensure the default IBM copy of sed is executed.
