* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Each time SMFEXTP restarts, CKKXUT1     *
*                      obtains an additional x'20000' bytes    *
*                      of ECSA.                                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF provided.                      *

A pointer in the SMF Extractor anchor area is being cleared
on restart causing the SMF Extractor to obtain a new work area
in ECSA each time it is restarted, rather than reusing the area
already obtained.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code has been corrected so that the pointer to the obtained
storage is not cleared, allowing it to be correctly reused.
