Error description

  • A subscription that is ended when processing a long running UR
during subscription restart may end up sending to the target,
some URs that were sent in the past. This will cause duplicate
data applied to a target table that does not have a primary
key.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A subscription that is ended when       *
*                      processing a long running UR during     *
*                      subscription restart may end up         *
*                      sending to the target, some URs that    *
*                      were sent in the past. This will cause  *
*                      duplicate data applied to a target      *
*                      table that does not have a primary key. *

Duplicated data may be found at the target if a subscription
is restarted and ended quickly when a long running UR
(commit group) was active during the prior subscription end.

Problem conclusion

  • The CHCDLSGP module was updated to send the REPORT_POSITION
message to the target after staging space has discarded all
UR sent in the past.
