PH42955: FORM FIELD VALUE OF DBCTLPRE IS INVALID FOR ODBM TRANSACTION WHEN RRS=N

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DBCTLPRE value is invalidly calculated for ODBM transactions
  with RRS=N. When RRS=N the IMS x'08' record attributes used by
  IMS Performance Analyzer may cause the transaction to be
  incorrectly labeled as REGTYPE=DBC, which possibly causes an
  invalid DBCTLPRE value to be calculated.

Problem conclusion

• When RRS=N the IMS x'08' record attributes used by IMS
  Performance Analyzer may cause the transaction to be
  incorrectly labelled as REGTYPE=DBC, and a DBCTLPRE value
  to be calculated accordingly. This APAR introduces additional
  checks used to determine the REGTYPE to distinguish
  between ODBM and DBCTL transactions.
