PH42805: TRANSFORM XMLTODATA FAILING WITH DFHPI1009 FOR DECIMAL FIELD

Error description

• Your application issues an EXEC CICS TRANSFORM XMLTODATA.
  The input XML data contained a decimal value ending in
  a period, but no other number following it. For example
  >855.<
  
  The following error message is produced:
  DFHPI1009 date time applid tran task# XML to data transformation
  failed. A conversion error (NO_FRACTION_DIGITS) occurred when
  converting field  name for XMLTRANSFORM name2.
  
  Additional symptoms: KIXREVSCB
  No Fraction Digits

  In the customer's case they had issued an EXEC CICS TRANSFORM
  XMLTODATA API call for XML received from an external client.
  The XML contained decimal values that did not have a digit
  following the decimal point, for example 99.
  This is a valid data format and the DFHPI1009 message should not
  be raised for this condition.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS' XML and JSON to data transformation code has been changed
  to avoid raising a NO_FRACTION_DIGITS exception when a number
  has a decimal point but no fractional digits.
