Error description

• The system needs CICS to issue a meaningful message when CKTI is
  about to abend in order to give automation the possibility to
  take appropriated action.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CICS-MQ Trigger Monitor             *
  *                      transaction, CKTI,  does not issue a    *
  *                      message when an unrecoverable abend has *
  *                      been detected.                          *
  ****************************************************************
  No message is issued by the CICS-MQ Trigger Monitor transaction,
  CKTI, when an unrecoverable abend occurs.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been added to issue message DFHMQ0129 when an
  unrecoverable abend occurs.
  
  The CICS Transaction Server Version 5 Release 5 and Version 5
  Release 6, CICS  Messages manual will be updated as follows.
  
  In Chapter 2. DFHMQnnnn messages - the following message will
  be added immediately after the description of message DFHMQ0128.
  
  The new message description will read as below.
  
  DFHMQ0129  date time applid The CKTI transaction has detected
   an unrecoverable abend abcode
  
  Explanation: The CKTI transaction has detected an unrecoverable
   abend and will terminate.
  
  System Action:  The CKTI transaction terminates.
  
  User Response:  Notify the system programmer.
                  Identify and correct the cause of the abend.
                  Manually restart the CKTI transaction.
