* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* This APAR is an enhancement to Db2 12                        *
* for z/OS that now enables queries that                       *
* specify the existing Db2 built-in                            *
* scalar function MULTIPLY_ALT to be                           *
* accelerated to IBM Db2 Analytics                             *
* Accelerator for z/OS Version 7                               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Prior to this APAR/PTF, queries that specify the built-in
scalar function MULTIPLY_ALT were not supported for Db2 QUERY
ACCELERATION.  With this Db2 12 for z/OS APAR PH42524,
those queries are now eligible for acceleration to IBM Db2
Analytics Accelerator for z/OS Version 7 .
