PH42423: A CHAINENDPOINTFILTER IS SET FOR ORB TRANSPORT CHAINS PAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In normal case, when we navigate through Application Servers
  > server > ORB services > Transport Chain, the panel shows
  both "ORBInboundListener" and "ORBSecureInboundListener".
  However, once the "ORB Service Transport Chains" page is opened
  via "View associated transports" in Ports page,
  a chainEndPointFilter is set for the page incorrectly.
  After that, we cannot see both settings anymore even though we
  navigate via Application Servers > server > ORB services >
  Transport Chain.
  

Local fix

• RECOVERY ACTION:
  logout admin console
  

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The console doesn't display all of      *
  *                      the Transport chains that it should.    *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  If you navigate from transport chains then to ports and look
  at a trasport chain, if you navigate back to transport chains,
  you might not see them all.
  

Problem conclusion

• The console was fixed to remove a filter that should not have
  been used.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
