transaction type 3 Edit 34774.

Current TAck error description:
2100 CLP04 must equal CLP03 - SUM of 2100 CAS amounts

Requested change to TAck error description:
2100 CLP04 must equal CLP03 - SUM of 2100 and 2110 CAS amounts

Problem Description:

HIPAA compliance check reports incomplete TAck for 835
transaction type 3 Edit 34774. Although the underlying rule was
balancing using both the claim (2100) and service level (2110)
CAS segments, the error message only indicated claim CAS.

Problem conclusion

  • Error message update to indicate balancing based on both 2100
and 2110 CAS segments.
