  The z/OSMF Software Management task is updated to support a new
  Merge action for target data sets during a deployment operation.
  Specifically, the software instance Export action is updated to
  create a portable software instance (PSWI) that enables the
  Merge action during a deployment.  When deploying a PSWI that
  has been so enabled, the new Merge action is available on the
  Deployment Configuration, Data Sets page.  The Merge action
  allows one or more candidate data sets to be merged into the
  selected target data set.
  
  This data set merge function is most useful when installing a
  z/OS PSWI.  The most commonly merged target data sets are ISPF
  component data sets such as panels, messages, etc, and UNIX file
  system data sets.
  
  In addition to providing the new data set merge function, the
  following issues are also fixed:
  - The Deployment View action has been updated to display a
  saved partial configuration.
  - The Modify Data Sets page in the deployment configuration
  wizard has been updated to modify the selected data sets even
  when a display filter on the Target Data Set Name column has
  been set.
  - JNIServiceException messages will be properly displayed
  within messages similar to IZUD9723E.
