PH41805: INVALID IMAGE SYNCHRONIZATION FAILURES REPORTED INTERMITTENTLY ON THE CITRIX MONITORING PANEL

Error description

• If a test script contains multiple image synchronizations, it
  was observed that intermittently random ones report "red" when
  observed on the Citrix Monitoring Panel. The expected images do
  appear to be delivered to the screen as per visual examinations
  and thus shouldn't have been a failure. Also, the playback
  doesn't have any Image Synchronization failures reported in the
  Statistical Report and if there aren't any other legitimate
  failures, show as 100% successful.
  
  When this failure occurs, if the image synchronization is
  defined to stop a response time measurement, the corresponding
  response time is logged as high at nearly 30 seconds most of the
  time thereby throwing off the average measurements.
  
  A NullPointerException is reported in the Problem Determination
  logs where the Image Synchronization failure should have been
  logged. The error reported is: "RPIC0003E exception raised while
  memorizing expected event java.lang.NullPointerException".
