APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Users encounter SESN0008E error when using Admin console. the
    Admin console is not behaving and handling the error,
    
    When LTPA token expires user receives a blank page
    HTTP 500 and not a login page as they should.
    When LTPA times out, they should be presented with login page
    for re-login.

Local fix

  • They have to either clean the cookies or restart the browser to
    get to the login page again.

    Users encounter a SESN0008E error in the logs when a LTPA token
    expires or a session times out which leads to a blank page in
    the
    admin console. When the session times out or the LTPA token
    expires the admin console should redirect to the login page.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The issue was addressed by setting the
    InvalidateOnUnauthorizedSessionRequestException property in the
    isclite.ear deployment.xml by default. This ensures the user is
    redirected to the login screen when the SESN0008E occurs.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.0.5.12. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates for
