PH41192: CALCULATION QUEUE GENERATES EXCESSIVE NUMBERS OF RECORDS TO RECALCULATE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The calculation queuing system will sometimes exceed reasonable
  limits on checking for recalculation.  In extreme cases, this
  case cause out-of-memory errors, leading to Java heap memory
  exceptions.
  Even operations involving a small number of objects can generate
  calculation queues in the thousands or tens of thousands of
  records to process, consuming a large amount of system
  resources.
  

Local fix

• To clear the calculation queue manually:
  1. Stop the OpenPages services
  2. Connect to the database
  3. Run the query:
  delete from tb_calc_queue;
  4. Restart services
