    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * IBM-supplied stored procedure                                *
    * SYSPROC.ACCEL_CREATE_REFERENCE_TABLES                        *
    * may result in AQT10441E with DSNT408I                        *
    * SQLCODE = -4747 when IBM Db2                                 *
    * Analytics Accelerator creates a                              *
    * federated reference table which *
    * contains a ROWID column.                                     *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    IBM-supplied stored procedure
    SYSPROC.ACCEL_CREATE_REFERENCE_TABLES may result in AQT10441E
    with DSNT408I SQLCODE = -4747 when IBM Db2 Analytics
    Accelerator creates a federated reference table which
    contains a ROWID column.
    .
    An upcoming update of IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS
    V7.5 includes ROWID federation support which enables
    accelerated tables with ROWID columns to be federated.
    However, stored procedure ACCEL_CREATE_REFERENCE_TABLES
    may result in AQT10441E with DSNT408I SQLCODE = -4747,
    because Db2 for z/OS does not support ROWID column for a
    federated reference table.
    .
    Therefore, in order to take advantage of this new ROWID
    function for federated reference tables , Db2 12 for
    z/OS will need to modify the existing restriction.
    .

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • Db2 12 for z/OS has been modified to take advantage of the
    new ROWID federation support for the upcoming update of IBM
    Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V7.5.
    .
    Without the upcoming IDAA update which includes the new
    ROWID federation support,
    SYSPROC.ACCEL_CREATE_REFERENCE_TABLES will continue to
    be restricted, resulting in AQT10050E, even with this
    Db2z APAR/PTF applied.
