Error description

  • If the ALT line command is used to update an IDENTITY column in
a table (for example, to update the RESTART WITH attribute to an
allowable value on panel ADB26CTQ ('Identity Column Option')),
later panel ADB27CA ('Alter Objects') incorrectly displays the
error message 'No changes', and the change is not processed.

*                      'no changes' is issued and the change   *
*                      is not performed.                       *

The ALT (alter) command was used to change an IDENTITY column in
a table. The RESTART WITH attribute was updated to an allowable
value, but later in the normal process flow panel ADB27CA
displays the error message 'No changes' with the explanation
'No further action necessary since no changes were made'.
