Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM MQ for z/OS Version 9 * * Release 1 Modification 0 and Release 2 * * Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Messages on SYSTEM.CLUSTER.HISTORY * * .QUEUE have an expiry time of 15 days * * rather than the intended 150 days. * * * * This queue is only used by queue * * managers in a cluster. * **************************************************************** The module that posts to the queue calculates the expiry value using two constants defined in seconds. MQ message expiry times are provided in tenths of seconds, meaning the messages expire in 1/10 of the intended time.
Problem conclusion
The expiry time is now converted from seconds to tenths of seconds.
