Error description

• DYNAMIC APPTABLE fixes to support a NON-RLS configuration
  and to support the ZEKE scheduler.

  *                      not permit expansion of the APPTABLE,   *
  *                      resulting in message BRNQRX07E          *
  *                      2. Using Non SMS Managed APPTABLE files *
  *                      in the VDB task results in message      *
  *                      BRNW0479E                               *
  *                      3. The merging logic used in step       *
  *                      MRGDYN of the ISV Schedulers utilities  *
  *                      is incorrect.                           *
  *                      4. No informational message is          *
  *                      displayed to indicate whether the       *
  *                      Dynamic APPTABLE has been loaded.       *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  1. The advised Shareoptions for non RLS support were
  inappropriate as they do not allow for expansion of the APPTABLE
  files.  Furthermore, the merging logic used in step MRGDYN of
  several jobs including ZEKEJOB, was incorrect.
  2. The VDB server did not allow for toleration of non RLS and
  non SMS managed files.
  3. The merging logic used in step MRGDYN of several jobs
  including ZEKEJOB was incorrect.
  4. No informational message is displayed to indicate that the
  Dynamic APPTABLE has been loaded.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. The proposed Shareoptions for non RLS files have been
  updated to 4,3. In the case of sharing the APPTABLE without
  RLS enabled, an additional comment to advise using only one
  LPAR for APPTABLE updates has been added to the APPTABLE
  definition job BRNDADEF.
  2. The VDB server for the APPTABLE has been updated in order to
  recognize Keyword and Value RLS=NO in the USERMAC(VDBPRMDA)
  member, which will allow the server to bypass validation of
  SMS and RLS enablement.
  3. Merge logic used in MRGDYN step has been corrected.
  4. An informational message is now issued when the Dynamic
  APPTABLE is loaded.
