PH40228: DRF SAS ABENDU0384-0000001D WHEN RUNNING RECOVERY JOBS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When ADD PC is specified in DRF, an abend U0384-0000001D may
  occur even though there is no error. This is because garbage
  data may remain in the area for the return code obtained by
  BPE Services in the HPPC initialization process of DRF.

  The area for return code obtained by BPE Services was not
  initialized, and the return code check was also performed when
  no the return code was set.
  

Problem conclusion

• FRXUAPI0 is modified to set the initial value 0 in the return
  code , and to check the return code only when a value is
  entered in the return code.
