APAR status

Error description

• After switching from the DB2 CAF to the DB2 RRSAF, some
  customers have reported that their CPU use has gone up.
  Analysis of the use of CPU inside and outside of calls to DB2
  indicate that IFI calls issued by log reading tasks have
  increased for those customers.  This APAR will attempt to reduce
  the number of such IFI calls for the same amount of log data
  being obtained.

Problem conclusion

• The reading log logic has been improved to reduce the number of
  IFI calls for scraping the same amount of DB2 log data.
