  • Persistent subscriptions will attempt to reconnect to a lost
target system at a specified interval indefinitely.  A
requirement has been received to provide a limit to how many
times reconnection will be tried.

If a connection with the target instance is lost, a persistent
subscription will attempt to reestablish connection for an
unlimited number of times.

Problem conclusion

  • A parameter was added to limit the number of retries for
persistent subscriptions.
