PH39764: DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS COLUMN SHOULD NOT BE INCLUDED IN COMPARE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When source has columns added via an ALTER, and there is an
  implicitly generated DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS column that is
  present before the newly added columns,  Object Compare
  attempts to shuffle the columns to correct the order of
  DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS.   That column should be ignored as
  part of the compare as long as the ordering of the remaining
  columns is the same.

  Currently, Db2 Admin Tool includes a
  DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS
  column when comparing tables. This causes Admin Tool to try to
  reorder the columns by dropping and recreating the table, even
  though the only change is the location of the
  DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS column. With this APAR applied
  Admin Tool does not include include the implicitly generated
  column as part of the compare, so the drop and recreate of the
  table is not necessary.
