PH39762: INCORRECT OFFSET FOR USER DATA IN CICS_FIELDS and CICS_DICTIONARY

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The offset for the start of the user fields in the sample
  block at the end of the SMF_CICS_T record is incorrect.
  It should be 5566 not 6700.
  This causes the user to create incorrect offsets in the
  CICS_FIELD table and hence the CICS_DICTIONARY table.

  The documentation comments in DRLRS110 and DRLTCIFI contain an
  incorrect start position for CICS user fields. This results
  is the CICS user fields not being collected or listed
  as expected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The documentation comments in DRLRS110 and DRLTCIFI have been
  substantially rewritten to better explain how the start
  offset for the CICS users fields is calculated. The current
  value has been corrected changing it from 6700 to 5566.
