Problem conclusion

• 1. MODE=MULT transactions may result in multiple transactions
     being chained from a single Unit of Recovery (UOR). In EOT
     processing the chain is traversed sequentially to remove the
     completed transaction from the list. The chain could be
     entered at any point, rather than from the first entry on
     the chain, in which case the transaction may not be found and
     an invalid pointer left which could result in a subsequent
     abend S0C4. This situation is corrected in that the chain
     is always entered from the first entry and traversed to the
     point at which the required entry can be found.
  
  2. An IMS Index record created for a MODE=MULT transaction may
     be malformed due to the conditions corrected in issue
     1. above. The conditions that resulted in the malformed
     record are corrected, however, additional defensive code
     is added to form field processing to mitigate against
     future issues.
