APAR status

Error description

  • In a mixed cell environment with a WAS 9.0.x Deployment
Manager(Dmgr) and WAS 8.5.5.x Node(s), after upgrading the
Dmgr fixpack to 9.0.5.7+ various errors may occur on the 8.5.5
Node when the configuration of the Node and Dmgr are synced.

This is caused by an improper transformation of some
configuration files from WAS 9.0.x to 8.5.5.x when the sync is
performed.

Examples of configuration files that may be affected are:
resources.xml and application-resources.xml
