PH39033: LOADER JOB TAKES A LONG TIME TO END ON SOME FAILURE CONDITIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On some of the below conditions, the loader takes a long time to
  cleanup and end the job
  
  1. On a HALOAD job if the user does not have the required
  privileges (example: MONITOR1, UNLOAD security,..)
  the message with the reason for failure is issued. Depending on
  the number of partitions on the table, it can take about
  80 mins for the loader job to clean up storage and end,
  
  With this APAR, HALOAD job would now terminate and end as soon
  as the message with the reason for failure is issued.
  
  2. When a MODIFY command '/F hlostc,STOP FORCE' is issued when
  there are loader jobs in progress, the loader started task
  (hlostc) will come down immediately but the loader jobs may take
  a long time to end or may be hung.
