Error description

  • The DB2 V12 IFI has the ability, when selected, to up-convert
log data from an historical row format to the row format that
was current at the time that the data was logged.  This will be
of value during replication from older parts of a DB2 Log.  IIDR
CDC for z/OS does not yet engage this capability.

Engage the Db2 IFI's ability to up-convert row formats after
a row format version change due to an alter table.

Problem conclusion

  • The modules CHCDLRGP and CHCDSLGP were updated to engage this
new capability.
