Error description

  • After applying UI75828 for PH33137 to upgrade Liberty in CICS
to 21.0.0.3, when a Liberty JVMSERVER is enabled the following
warning is written to the JVMLOG file:

[LibertyVersionChecker] @Warning: checkLibertyVersion() -
Liberty version 21.0.0.3 is higher than the maximum supported
version of Liberty 20.0.0.12

Liberty starts successfully and this has no runtime impact.
Use of Liberty 21.0.0.3 is supported with UI75828 applied.  The
purpose of this APAR is to correct this message.

When a Liberty JVM server is enabled, using the CICS-supplied
21.0.0.3 version of Liberty, the JVMLOG incorrectly reports
that the launched version (21.0.0.3) is higher than the maximum
supported version of Liberty (20.0.0.12).
