APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If DB2 V12 is in use by IIDR CDC for z/OS and the Application
  Compatibility Level used to bind the IIDR CDC for z/OS plans is
  not at a DB2 V12 level, the Application Compatibility Level will
  be incorrectly determined to be 000.  This can have negative
  repercussions if features of DB2 V12 are needed for proper
  operation.
  

Local fix

• Rebind the IIDR CDC for z/OS plans with APPLCOMPAT(V12R1Mxxx),
  where xxx is a valid Function Level for DB2 V12.

  *                      APPLCOMPAT for any of the IIDR CDC for  *
  *                      z/OS DB2 plans being used have been     *
  *                      bound with a non-DB2 V12 APPLCOMPAT,    *
  *                      aspects of the use of DB2 V12 may not   *
  *                      operate properly or they may fail.      *

  IIDR CDC for z/OS needs to have its DB2 plans bound at an
  application compatibility level that matches the version of DB2
  to which it is connected.
  

Problem conclusion

• When operating with DB2 V12, IIDR CDC for z/OS and its utility
  programs will check the APPLCOMPAT level of the bound plans and
  not operate if they are not at a DB2 V12 level.
