PH37874: SEARCH FOR LOWER CASE USERNAME PASSWORD PANEL ADB2Z55 RESULTS INMESSAGE 'NO ROWS MATCH'

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Even though a username is entered in lower case on panel ADB2Z55
  (('DISPLAY/UPDATE USERNAMES'), a search for that username,
  either by typing the username under the 'Auth ID' column of the
  panel, or by using the SARG primary command, translates the
  search argument to upper case.  As a result, the search ends
  with the message 'No rows match.'  The same result occurs when
  searching for a lower case password.

  On the "Display/Update USERNAMES" panel (ADB2Z55),  an attempt
  to search for lowercase letters in columns AUTHID and PASSWORD
  fails to find the qualifying rows.  Searching for uppercase
  letters works correctly.
