• When CDC for z/OS is attached to a DB2 subsystem of which SSID
  or Group Attach Name is less than four characters, starting
  replication would fail with error CHC0063E.

  to CDC changes the logic of how it handles and processes the DB2

Problem conclusion

• Stripping the padding blanks when constructing the Journal ID
  field from DB2 SSID or Group Attach Name that is less than four
  characters.
