APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A TCB which originally obtained a QINFO block has ended, but in
  this case, the second attempt to free the storage was driven by
  STOP QMGR MODE(FORCE) processing. The QMGR goes on to clean up
  all the handles associated with outstanding connections, which
  result in calls to CSQMCALH to free QINFO blocks which have
  already been freed

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An 0C4 abend occurs in CSQMCALH when a  *
  *                      STOP QMGR MODE(FORCE) command is        *
  *                      issued whilst CICS is connected to      *
  *                      the queue manager, using an AMS         *
  *                      protected queue.                        *
  ****************************************************************
  A CICS TCB connected to the queue manager using an AMS
  protected queue resulted in a QInfo block being allocated.
  During STOP QMGR MODE(FORCE) processing, the CICS TCB
  subsequently ended, implicitly freeing the task owned storage.
  The handle associated with the connection wasn't closed during
  this processing.
  The code subsequently attempted to close the handle the CICS
  TCB left open. This attempt to access the storage resulted in
  the 0C4 abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• For CICS connections, the code has been changed to allocate
  job step owned storage for QInfo blocks. This results in
  storage not being freed when the CICS TCB ends, allowing
  processing to continue and therefore prevent the 0C4 abend.
