    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When running an IMS batch job while the WOLA subsystem is
    stopped, the WOLA Subsystem Not Operational exit routine
    (bboaisno) gets a B78 abend when trying to GETMAIN storage from
    subpool 230. The abend occurs because bboaisno is getting
    control in key 8.
    The "/STOP SUBSYS WOLA." command was used to stop the WOLA
    subsystem.
    The following is an example of messages that might be seen.
    IEA705I ERROR DURING GETMAIN SYS CODE = B78-08 OLABA001 G 00

Problem conclusion

  • Changed bboaisno to use a subpool that will work when it is
    called in key 8.
